Summary:
Being under the rule of Mughals for about 180 years, and then under the British for around 100 years, the Indians too were wooed by the sentiment of Independence. Though everybody is equally entitled to liberty, the consequences India had to suffer to attain freedom were immensely horrific. Laden with tales of barbaric holocausts and massacres, the generations live to tell the tale of Independence of the world's biggest democracy.
