Arts & Entertainment
This painting was done by an Italian named Caravaggio. It is in Rome and housed in Galleria Borghese. He painted it between the years of 1609 and 1610. The painting’s dimensions are as follows 49cm in length and 40 cm in width. Caravaggio was inspired to paint this piece by a follower of another painter called Giorgione, but the difference is that Caravaggio adds more drama by having Goliaths head hanging from David's hand.
